It was only with Khaidi in 1983 that he reached the stardom and brought out further block busters.

He won many more awards including the Padma Vibhushan; that’s India’s second-highest civilian honor that he obtained for his stellar contribution to Indian cinema. He was also awarded the Padma Bhushan in 2006 as an indication of his impact not only as an entertainer but also as a cultural icon.

One of the best known is his friendly nature and dedication for his craft. Professionalism and a work ethic he set for aspiring actors became the benchmark. Chiranjeevi often speaks about hard work, perseverance, and staying close to one’s roots-making him a role model for many.

Chiranjeevi also provides philanthropy facilities. He has himself established Chiranjeevi Charitable Trust which renders health and educational facilities to deprived people and reflects his sense of social responsibility.
